Non-Profit Organization as their Franchisee of the Month

LITTLE ROCK, AR (July 1, 2002) – Owned and Operated by the Beaver County Rehabilitation Center Inc., Gifts Delivered Featuring Candy Bouquet, located in New Brighton, PA, has been open for business since August 2001. The franchise was purchased to provide work for persons with disabilities.

The arrangements created by Gifts Delivered Featuring Candy Bouquet are being sold in three area hospital gift shops along with bouquets and gift candies that are sold through our sales floor. Public response has been wonderfully positive, almost overwhelming last Christmas and Valentine's Day, and the excellent PR the bouquets have generated for the Center has been priceless.

The venture is a breath of fresh air for many of the people with disabilities served by BCRC. They often express their delight in being involved in the process of creating something so beautiful.

Director of Business Development, Pat Healey says the store is successful because, "We have taken time to develop the business slowly and carefully. We have made a detailed analysis of business costs, and the steps involved in creating a bouquet. We have also taken time to train a number of individuals to make bouquets. Our workforce is growing daily."

Ms. Healey enjoys the positive comments and the smiles on people's faces when they see the bouquets. She also enjoys the fact that Gifts Delivered Featuring Candy Bouquet has truly been a team effort between BCRC and Candy Bouquet International, Inc. that has enhanced the lives of the many people with disabilities served by the Beaver County Rehabilitation Center.
