CBI 800 - Francie de Vos
Home Based
Fraser, CO

Francie de Vos, owner of CBI 800 in Colorado has successfully run her home-based business for six years.

"I was a corporate HR Director for 10 years, need I say more? But, having received a beautiful Candy Bouquet while in Utah on business, I was totally smitten with the product!" she said. That is what made her decide to get her own Candy Bouquet Franchise. In addition, it has a "big fun factor!"

She said her role model is PT Barnum, "Every crowd has a silver lining."

Francie has a great sense of humor which adds to her success, in addition to being born "with good genes."

Her family consists of "three dogs, three cranky Parrots and one crazed husband!" Her hobbies are parasailing, kayaking, and rock climbing - "not!"

Her favorite musical artists are: Frank Sinatra, Korn, Oingo Boingo and Third Time Lucky. "Oh, I can't overlook Brave Combo - especially their CD with Tiny Tim, a great group if you are into nuclear polka.

"My proudest accomplishment is getting out of bed on Mondays!" Francie said.

"If I could go anywhere in the world, I'd go to just outside of Sedan, Kansas to an old family haunt, Oakridge (Hi to franchise #5265!)."

She said one thing she has learned is how important it is to get at least eight hours of sleep a night! And, "don't waste time on negativity! Save your energy for positive focus on your business and family. I attribute much of the success of my franchise to practicing those beliefs, as well as being very involved with my community."
