Fellow Franchisees:
I would like to take this opportunity to extend the invitation to attend the 2008 Candy Land Convention. It is shaping up to be one of the most fun and informative conventions ever.
I have attended a number of conventions over the past years, this will be my eighth. I realize that it may not be feasible for some franchisees to come, but if there is any way possible to work it in your schedule, please do so. The information gained is invaluable. Over the years, I have met a number of franchisees and gained valuable information and hope I have been able to provide them with something in return. I have met international franchisees, as well as, neighboring franchisees.
The convention has always been a great motivator for me. I get so pumped up; I can’t wait to get home and start selling bouquets. That momentum carries me through the year. Over the years, fellow franchisees have asked me why I attend every year, my answer, how can I afford not to. This is my business, I made the decision to be a part of this organization, this to me means learning and taking part in every aspect to grow my business. The convention is the most beneficial place to do this. I am informed of what is happening at Corporate and what plans they have for the franchise, the motivational speakers really inspire, and the handouts are great reference material. The competitions and ideas gained from those have always inspired my creative side to return home with ideas for new bouquets for my customers. Vendors on hand to display their products and to answer questions is an added bonus to attend. There is nothing to compare with seeing the product first hand rather than by pictures, and don’t forget the discounts, and the fudge samples, Yum! Yum!
I know this year the convention will be bigger and better than ever before. There have been wonderful suggestions for topics to help franchisees with their business. We want everyone to come away from the convention with more understanding on running their business. There will be great prizes, better than ever before, and lots of fun.

Why Attend Convention 2008
As an oldie who has attended the last 8 conventions,I can truly say this one is going to be the best of the best! From the Professional Speaker to networking with other franchisees this convention promises to be informational, educational and motivational.
The best thing about convention is meeting other franchisees in person! I have spoken too many of you via email and over the phone and it would be great to put a face with the name! It is also nice to see all my “CB Friends” again!
Another great thing about convention is seeing the competition designs for their creativity and ideas. Since the convention is right before one of our busiest holiday’s it is a great time to recharge your “batteries” for inspiration. The vendors will have their products on hand for ordering and Distribution always has a nice display of their new products. It’s definitely not too early to prepare for Valentine’s 2009!
So, if you are contemplating on going and the plane tickets are getting ridiculously expensive, buddy up with your neighbor franchisee(s) and car pool over to Little Rock!
